Each prayer must include all these:

1) Prayer of glorification, praise and blessing Berakhah | Tehillah תְּהִלָּה / בְּרָכָה

2) Prayer of thanks Todah תּוֹדָה

3) Prayer of beseeching Bakashah בַּקָּשָׁה

Prayer of glorification, praise and blessing Berakhah | Tehilah תְּהִלָּה / בְּרָכָה we call prayers that glorify or praise God. We praise God for His miracles and great actions that we can see all around us, for example:

Blessed be יהוה my Rock, who traineth my hands for war, and my fingers for battle. (Ps 144:1)

I will praise יהוה while I live; I will sing praises unto my God while I have my being. (Psalm 146:2)

Prayer of thanks Todah תּוֹדָה we call the prayers we say to thank God. We express thanks to God in prayer for all His goodness, for example:

O give thanks unto יהוה, for He is good, for His mercy endureth for ever. (Ps 107:1)

Prayer of beseeching Bakashah בַּקָּשָׁה we say prayers to plea to God for the forgiveness of sins and we ask His favor for the future, these prayers are called Bakashah for example:

The cords of death compassed me, and the straits of the nether-world got hold upon me; I found trouble and sorrow. But I called upon the name of יהוה: I beseech thee, O יהוה, deliver my soul. (Psalm 116:3-4)
